FLYING RABBIT

We are stoked to announce that we are working with Flying Rabbit as they release their latest album 'Eclectic Playground'.

Flying Rabbit is an emerging crossover band based in Oslo, Norway. With various backgrounds, they each bring a different musical influence that merges the unique sound that reflects in their album.

With the ambience and a psychedelic feel to their music, you are bound to embark on a mystical journey.

The songs are written by singer Emily C Brannigan and guitarist Jacob Kronen, as well as Emily’s father. “Keep on Digging is a special song for me since we were finally able to make a song based on one of my father’s poems. It’s a beautiful poem that celebrates the wonders of nature, but definitely has a sad side to it, describing how we are selfishly ruining our planet”, says Emily.

Flying Rabbit - Eclectic Playground Cove

We were hooked onto the music of Flying Rabbit as soon as we found them, their exciting approach and combination of different genres really showed potential to really make it!

Starting with the release of Eclectic Playground the band already have their follow-up full-length debut in the works, and are genuinely excited to bring their audience vibrantly psychedelic, daring and groovy music.

"What really prompted you guys to start the band?"

We had been making songs together for several years, and when we had enough songs we got a group together made up of some of our musician friends. They are all really versatile in style and that made it a great match since we like exploring different genres. We enjoy jamming together and we’re usually pretty open to going in wherever direction feels natural for the song. It also feels good just to get together and play and release some creativity once in a while.

"What was the moment you knew this was something good you’ve got going on? "

The first time we jammed with Christer, the drummer, we got the feeling that this was something special, and that put everything into motion. We got really inspired after that and wrote a whole bunch of songs. After a period of perfecting the songs, we felt that we found our unique sound.

"What’s the expectation with your new EP?"

We want to invite the audience into a world of excitement, surrealism and craziness! Hopefully, it will trigger some interest and make people want to explore it with us. We got a lot more to show.

"Would you continue making music after this going into 2021?"

Definitely! The EP is a taste of what is to come, and we’re already putting the finishing touches on our first album which will be released later in 2021. Corona has had its downsides, but at least it made us really productive! We’re also really looking forward to start playing live again!
